Let's speak only in English

Why do Peruvians always think they’re smarter than they really are? Here, read about the flap T sound:

Now let’s talk about your English errors. You can’t say “Besides of dumb”. You can say “Besides being dumb”. “You can’t perceive well the linguistic brutality” sounds nothing like a native speaker. Sounds exactly like you’ve translated Spanish in your head. “How can you pretend debate English with me” is awful. We don’t use pretend like pretender in Spanish. You also forgot to make the verb an infinitive. Your English isn’t terrible, but please don’t compare your English to mine ever again.

Too much babbling.

Listen the correct way to pronounce the letter "t".

Just listen the first words of Severus. He clearly says: Porter. He didn't say like green goes brutos: "Porer"

About "English errors".

Yours are so poor and even so, you want to make them "authoritarian".

It is not "you can't say such and such", but the way to express it is "you must not say such and such", because I can say "besides of dumb" as many times as I want, I'm free to say it this way. However, if I want to speak English in a proper way, then I must not say it the way I do.

Green goes brutos.

About meaning of words...

When is about poetry, you can break several rules and give the meaning you want to words as a symbolism. In poetry you are like a liberal femme, no rules apply to you when you write lyrics.Grammar and spelling are not subjected to the rules of English as when you write in prose.Poetry enjoys the luxury of irregularities when it express itself.

Besides of brutos, your corrections sound like coming from an truly, badly, curly, poorly ignorant... in progress.

Who cares how many excuses
Green goes posts to avoid right pronunciation
no matter how hard my English he accuses
he "still is" lost... in this conversation...

Cheers

Because he’s English, not American, dumbass. You live in the United States, right? You want to sound like an American, not a pretentious Brit? Learn how to say the t like an American. You didn’t know until now how to say it. It’s ok, now you know. Why the hell do Peruvians have such a hard time admitting they’re wrong? Face-saving culture is so annoying. Anyway you can’t point out any of my supposed errors, other than some British bullshit about “must not” instead of “can’t”. Did you even read or watch the video about the flap T pronunciation or did you immediately go about trying to prove you’re right?

No, I don't want to sound like an American when I speak, what I want is to speak English properly, and saying "quarer" is wrong, saying "Porer" is wrong.

I have provided the example with "cuñao" in Castellano, as many peruvians pronounce the word "cuñado". To say "cuñao" is wrong.

Your flat T video is a piece of crap,, come on. The letter "t" is pronounced "tee", period. Make your tongue hit the upper front teeth, don´t bite your tongue, don´t evade the contact between your tongue and the upper front teeth, and your English will be fine. You will thank me one day...

According to the honorable Real Academy of English -if any- the sound "t" can´t be replaced by the sounds "r" or "d". However, the ending "ed" like in "happened" can be pronounced "happent" (jápent).

Sheesss, I'm rolling here... I myself am... (yo mismo soy)

No wonder why average IQ in America is lower than the IQ in many countries which are not even great nations with wonderful economies and power... green goes can´t even pronounce properly the word "quarter"... sheeessss...

Ok troll. I assume you speak with a Spanish theta? You know, to speak correct Spanish?

As far as I know, the books of language I read in class when I was in school, those books said "Castellano" in the cover. If my mind still is functioning correctly, what I also know is that the author of those school books was a guy who's name is Santillana.

I truly don't have any clue if the curriculum has changed in Perú, and if in the new books cover says "Español".

So, my feeling is that such is the language I learned and I speak today, which is Castellano.

You see, Spain still enjoys dialects other than Castellano, which are spoken in different regions of that country. The official language over there is Español (Spanish), but I truly don't know what that means, because those other dialects also are "españoles". On the other hand, the US doesn't have an official language... right?

Well, today will be nice outside, I´ll see what I can do later on... besides of bothering and boring you, which is fun... but more fun is biking thru the park.

I live in an area where bike trails run from my location to different far away places. In those trails, when you walk or biking, you can pass thru close to the deer. These animals live in the parks surrounding my city. They are used to us, and they don´t run to hide because our presence, but they just keep walking, still standing or eating, Of course, even when they look very inoffensive, best is to avoid a close approach, no one knows how they will react.

I also have a river some blocks away from home, and I feel very fortunate seeing myself living in this area. I have lived so many wonderful moments taking my children and my dogs to the river. And today I still enjoy nature by having it so close, like walking five blocks and you are in a world different than the city.

I must confess, I have never tried fishing in that river, not because contamination of the water and stuff like that, but fishing to me is bored.

All right then, when I come back, let me see how I can bother you again, I say this, because you just called me a troll... so be it.

It’s sad that you live in the United States but still struggle with basic English grammar. Not to mention your pronunciation issues. I bet you think you speak and write like a native though!

What a sad life of yours, green goes, criticizing others no matter what.

While I can write something else besides English language as a topic in this thread, I can see you only are capable to read how others write rather than what others communicate to the rest.

I have a beautiful life regardless of my English, because English is not my second language but my last language... it's so dumb, its rules are so stupid...

Even when others write making mistakes in Castellano in other threads, I pay no attention to their errors but to their messages. The way it should be.

By the way, having you pronouncing quarer instead of quarter, green goes, don't pretend you are the teacher here, because in reality, you are the last person to correct the mistakes of others.

Yep, poor Luchito! Oh wait you’re the one who came in insulting all the gringos brutos for their unsophisticated pronunciation. I would have never criticized your English if you weren’t an ass in the first place. Hope you enjoyed your time in the woods with your deer friends.

On my way at the bike trail

I live in the city, as I have mentioned before, but I also have the forest (parks) just around the corner. The following picture is without filters, from my cheap 70 bucks phone, a Galaxy J something. Sunsets are beautiful even in Winter.

Next time I will take pictures of my friends, the deer. They usually are close to the trail path at mornings and early afternoons.

And about the former discussion between you and I, concerning your English pronunciation... look, It doesn't marer now, just let it go... no reason for bad feelings...is berer this way..,

Winter in June in the United States? It’s not quite adding up…

Also you need to work on your use of “it”. It is better this way, not “is better this way”. I’m always here to help out, Luchito.

Green goes... you are out already... you are out... (ya fuiste ya, ya fuiste...)

You can´t get the point.

This thread is about
"Let's speak only in English". See? This thread is not about correcting their English one to another.

Write something else, tell us a story, an experience, a joke, anything but bothering others with your spelling and grammar corrector.

I won´t mind if you write in English like illegal immigrants talking at Home Depot, when trying to say that they can do the job, "oh, me do it!... me do it!" With their bad English they are hired anyway.

I didn´t say shit when the African born employee counts the concrete bags and says "savan" instead of seven... he is happy having that job, and I wont mess his day trying to be a green goes alike in forosperú.

I was playing with you before, because I noticed your kind of arrogant attitude with others who participate in this thread, but now you are reaching boredom.

So, besides of being an incisive English teacher, tell us, what´s going on?

How was your day yesterday? or, do you think radioactive isotopes might decay differently in outer space?

Come on, Green goes, I´m not trying to be your friend, but just trying to follow the purpose of this thread.

I think you’re missing the point. I’m correcting you because you’re (erroneously) correcting others. I didn’t know there were rules about what we could talk about. You don’t want to improve your English? Maybe you could get a better job if you did. Your English isn’t bad but it could be improved. You should always want to be improving when it comes to a foreign language.

So I guess instead we’ll talk about radioactive isotopes in outer space. Go ahead, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Winter in June in the United States? It’s not quite adding up…
Right now we are in Spring ready to receive Summer. Sunsets are great. This is why in my comment I added, that sunsets are beautiful "even" in Winter. (no need to say "are also beautiful" because by context is taken for granted.

Apparently, your problem is that you read in English like a religious protestant dude reading his bible, never understanding the context because of his tendency of interpreting the book thru isolated verses.

By the way, no rules are broken when I say "it is berer this way", but solely your pronunciation of the letter "t" which is a linguistic aberration.

Green goes, I know lots of people who talk and write fluently and perfectly in English, and they live as roommates in a building apartment. I already commented that in my neighborhood, dudes who can't speak English own a house and cars.

There is not an official language at Federal level in the US, so, English is not mandatory, perhaps is needed but not mandatory to be taught in schools or any other institution. Perhaps at State level the game is different, but as Federal requirement, ha...

Lots of issues are found not only with language but also with the system itself, just to remind you that the word "democracy" is not mentioned at all in the Constitution.

And some sentences in the Constitution sound as a great insight, but in reality those mean nothing in the practical, in the field, in real life.

I'm a Master, I can see what you can't see, green goes.

So, you still avoiding telling us something from your part. Even when you are free to make comments about the soccer game Peru vs Australia, but... you still keeping your English corrector attitude... I think you berer seek for help.

Just free yourself from that personality that makes you slave of perfection,
and play here the game as a normal person,
say something, do not respond others messages,
say something from your own, your insight, your presages...

Learn to be free, enjoy life. We already know this world only brings misery at last, but such is not a reason to acquire a frustrated ego... green goes, if you have nothing to say, then draw something...

You like to talk, and talk, and talk. Obviously there are native English speakers who are poor and immigrants with barely passable English who are loaded. My point is to always be improving. If you don’t want feedback, whatever. You keep insisting that normal American pronunciation is aberrant. Hopefully you don’t go around telling people that in real life.

If you aren’t paying attention, I participate in the forum in plenty of other threads. In Spanish. And I don’t criticize other people’s spelling/grammar, even though it’s pretty bad in some cases. As far as soccer, what is there to say about Peru vs Australia? Tough luck. I’m glad the United States is back in after not making the last World Cup.
