Who's the dumbass now?

I can't trust a green go who pronounces it "cuarer", when the English word it written "quarter" (cuarter).

There is not a single English grammar rule establishing the omission of the pronunciation of "t" in that word.

In Spanish speaking people, only the ignorant, the vulgar, the illiterate, the low class... pronounces it "cuñao" the word "cuñado".

So, be aware that learning English language includes gramma rules, and follow them, because such is the reason languages made their regulations in the first place.

This is almost a well written joke... only it is not funny.

I have no idea what you’re talking about with cuarer vs quarter. Who says cuarer? Also pronunciation has nothing to do with grammar.

Since I have arrived to the "iunáites" everybody pronounces the 25 cents coin as "a cuarer".. Even worst, the book Harry Porter is pronounced as "Harry Porer".

Only in the movies one can hear his name as Porter, because the film comes from England.

Green goes brutos... ha ha ha ha

Speaking of bruto, your English could use some improvement. They probably are pronouncing the t in quarter, it’s just kind of soft. Like the word mountain. Lots of Americans don’t pronounce it with a hard t.

The guy just wants some new friends. He's just afraid of expressing his true feelings.

Watch this video. From minute 1:20... quarers, later on, more quarers

No soft "t" but omission of it.

Watch this another video. Since its very beginning... Harry Porer quotes...

Come on, no excuse.

It is understandable some accent, some variations due to outside or far away locations from good schools, but quarer and Porer is a common linguistic disease... Teachers at schools are great part of the fault for the propagation of this bad pronunciation.

I can bet that you also pronounce those words the same way.

Ok, bro.

The pronunciation is fine. Neither video omits the t. It’s there. Maybe you don’t hear it because you’re a non-native speaker? And you’re really going to lecture about pronunciation when your posts are littered with typos and grammar errors? Come on. How long have you lived in the states?

My uncle the Italian, with his perfect English: Get out of heer!

Besides of dumb, your position is silly.

Watch another video of the same dude of the previous one, with the coins.

Watch it.

If you look at his mouth, and this is very important, you will notice that in order to pronounce "a soft t", then the tongue, if you want it or not, must touch the upper teeth.

This is a must in English,in Spanish, and in any language of the world, where the pronunciation of the letter "t" is spoken.

From 0.10 minutes, the dude from the video never pronounces the letter "t". Never. The same happens with his previous video I have posted here.

He pronounces the letter "r", and he says "quarer" instead of "quarter".

It is not my fault if you were born half deaf and you can't perceive well the linguistic brutality of that dude, but it appears that you were also born half blind as well, when you can't notice his mouth saying "quarer" instead of "quarter".

I doubt you are a green go, I really do.

And my English is not from any school but mine is Street English... the best.

Your English is very close to mine, but yours is best-iality.

How can you pretend
debate English with me
and in vain to defend
letter "r" as a "tee"?

Come on, mine is English Master... yours is just little mester...

Cheers.

Why do Peruvians always think they’re smarter than they really are? Here, read about the flap T sound:

Now let’s talk about your English errors. You can’t say “Besides of dumb”. You can say “Besides being dumb”. “You can’t perceive well the linguistic brutality” sounds nothing like a native speaker. Sounds exactly like you’ve translated Spanish in your head. “How can you pretend debate English with me” is awful. We don’t use pretend like pretender in Spanish. You also forgot to make the verb an infinitive. Your English isn’t terrible, but please don’t compare your English to mine ever again.
