Copa de la Liga de Balompié Inglés (English Football League Cup), también conocida desde hace unos años como Copa Carabao (Carabao Cup) por razones de patrocinio, es una competencia de temporada de Inglaterra donde participan 92 instituciones de las cuatro primeras categorías del balompié inglés.

En la primera ronda de la competencia, participaron 22 de los 24 equipos de la segunda categoría (English Football League Championship) y todos los clubes de la tercera categoría (English Football League One) y la cuarta (English Football League Two).

En la siguiente ronda, entraron los dos clubes restantes de la segunda categoría, Fulham F. C. y West Bromwich Albion, (que terminaron en la posición 18 y 19 respectivamente en la temporada 2020-2021 de la primera categoría), y los clubes de Premier League que no participan en Liga de Campeones de UEFA, Liga Europea de UEFA o de UEFA Europa Conference League 2021–2022.

Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur y West Ham United recibieron pases directos a la tercera ronda por su participación en competiciones internacionales europeas.
